Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock of the Palace of Westminster in London, and often extended to refer to the clock and the clock tower. At the time of its casting, Big Ben was the largest bell in the British Isles (13.7 tons) until "Great Paul" bell (17 tons) was cast in 1881.

The clock tower just soars above other edifices in the area. The best part is when it chimes on the hour. Be there with your videocam when that happens. It's really cool! read full review
